The device is used to turn off the solar sell option in the inverter configuration based on the N0% input. This will prohibit production into the network. The condition is correct connection and adequate configuration of the inverter. The second function is to turn off the inverter of the converter (reported as error F19), where the production will be stopped by the inverter itself.
Connection
- The device can only be used with batteries communicating via CAN and Deye hybrid converters.
- The device plugs into the BMS port in the inverter. The communication cable from the battery is connected to this converter, the CAN bus is pass-through. Use an 8-wire patch cord to connect to the inverter. The power supply of the converter is provided from terminals 7 and 8 of the right terminal block of the converter (12V). When the power is connected, the led next to the power terminal will light up.
- The Modbus address of the converter must be set to address 1 (01) in the Advanced setting.
- Input N0% and OFF are activated by connecting the terminals (never connect a foreign voltage to the terminal). The activation of the input is confirmed by the LED, which lights up for the entire time of activation. The command is executed in the converter within approx. 6s.
- To verify the current status of solar sell, the settings window must be opened again, the window does not refresh itself. The OFF command is reported as an F19 error, after disabling the block, the inverter must perform network phasing operations again.
