A passive Gigabit PoE injector in a metal chassis designed to power up to four devices with passive PoE support. The LAN Ethernet ports connect to a switch or router, while the PoE side connects to devices using passive PoE, supplying power through the Ethernet cable. Two pairs in the Ethernet cable are used for power: 4,5 (positive pole) and 7,8 (negative pole). The panel is powered via a standard 2.1/5.5 mm power connector.

The passive PoE injector is compatible with a voltage range of 12 to 57 V DC, with a maximum current of 1 A per port and a total maximum output of 100 W. The power supply is not included, so the choice and power parameters of the source should be optimized according to the power consumption of connected devices and their configuration. The panel has LED indicators for each port as well as for the connected power adapter.
