Conexpro category 5E UTP cable is designed for internal distribution of structured cabling. The cable allows data transfer at up to 1 Gbps (1000 Base-T). It is produced in gray color without shielding with a PVC jacket. The conductors have an aluminum core and are coated with a layer of copper, the so-called CCA, with a total cross-section of AWG24. The cable is packed in a high-quality cardboard box with a modern design and is marked after every meter from 0 to 305 m.
What does CCA mean?
CCA is a new data cable technology with copper-clad aluminum core. It brings the benefits of copper at a lower price and is gentle on limited copper supplies. The limited skin effect affects its conductivity, which excludes its use for POE installations. The quality of CCA cables depends on the balanced copper content.
